The unveiling coincided with the opening of their 2023 season, symbolizing the museum's refreshed identity and the beginning of a new season of exploration.

On Friday, June 30 Half Sister Studio is thrilled to host the remarkable Jackie Peterson for Cake. Jackie has requested coconut cake to be shared with ten guests, perfectly aligning with our studio summer vibes. As an esteemed independent museum consultant specializing in exhibits and writing, Jackie’s national recognition speaks volumes. With a steadfast dedication to uncovering meaningful stories and advancing equity in the museum field, her presence promises an enlightening and unforgettable perspective.

Prompt & Circumstance is an hour long introductory session aimed at helping new users create and effectively use prompts in Chat GPT and MidJourney, to guide AI language models.

When Alyssa joined a small group at the studio on April 6, 2023 for Cake, she brought more than just her presence. Her insightful contributions and genuine generosity created an environment where everyone felt comfortable sharing their thoughts on inspired design, real-life experiences, and everything in between. As the inaugural Cake guest, Alyssa set a high bar, not just with her charm, but with her ability to foster a space for open and authentic conversation.

This experience served as a reminder that by embracing the unexpected, we can create truly exceptional and memorable experiences. Such experiences are often more meaningful than anything we could have planned in advance.

Good experience design should prioritize authentic goals and engagement with the audience's senses, beyond just relying on technical innovation, which may exclude certain abilities. Two projects exemplify this approach: a generative graphic display in Times Square and an intimate dinner in a historic cottage.
